The Big Bang Theory: 5x24 The Countdown Reflection

I have to admit, this episode of TBBT may not have been the funniest one ever, but I am pretty sure it was one of sweetest. Obviously, because of the wedding, but that is just one of the reasons. Another one was Leonard and Penny's "fights" about his proposal (and Sheldon's comments). However, the sweetest moment of this episode, probably of this whole episode, was at the end, when Sheldon reachs out for Amy's hand. Didn't it make you smile for the rest of your day, too?

  1. I absolutely agree, this was on of the single biggest moments for Sheldon’s character in the entire series so far. He’s always been a little cold, a little robotic, a little stand-offish, and a lot withdrawn. Taking what would seem to be a tiny, if not insignificant step, to most characters on TV, this was a huge leap forward for Sheldon. I’m really looking forward to seeing if we get more of this next season. As you said, it wasn’t the funniest episode ever, though were some laughs, but it was definitely one of the most heartfelt. . I watched it again over the weekend, having recorded it last week using PrimeTime Anytime. A coworker here at Dish told me about this new feature on the Hopper, called Auto Hop, that allowed me to choose to watch the show with the commercials automatically skipped over, so I was able to really enjoy it without commercial breaks constantly interrupting the flow of the story. It’s much easier to stay in the world that the writer’s have worked so hard to create for you when you don’t have to mute some blaring pitchman every seven minutes.
